While there is beauty in celebrating small, everyday moments, I also love going big on the big ones! Our country is huge on festivals commemorating foundation days, heroes’ days, feast days, holy days and other cultural and historical milestones. It’s fun to revisit their origins, find a story or two to share with the kids, prepare a relevant recipe, and of course, create crafts as a family.
