This was commissioned by Tahilan Study Center as a fund-raising project in support of their outreach activities, and to commemorate 500 years of Catholicism in the Philippines. With more somber tones, each image was patterned after famous Marian images found across our islands. The Philippines has always had a strong devotion to Our Lady, from the moment she landed on our shores.
